J: I have been working a 12p-8p shift this week so I have gotten to spend the mornings with Gabe and Viv. We had a couple rough weeks with Gabe who was sick with a virus that gave him high fevers and a rash, so I am so thankful I was able to have mornings free to go Dr's appts and be home to cuddle. Here are some pics of him on the mend. We are so thankful to our pediatrician and feel so blessed to have him healthy as he gave us a little scare for a week. Waiting for breakfast Viv with her push toy..what a big girl! Gabe - The consummate dude...crawling in boxes In our wagon!
We have named him "Tony" which is, I think the most ridiculous name for a pony :)Here are the kids on their first day with him..also as you can see in the pictures we like to eat anything we like!
The kids got to see all kinds of fun animals yesterday at Maymont Park including bison, goats, cows, and sea otters. Viv was a huge fan of the buffalo, and G loved the otters. What a fun day!!!
Vivi's first word was "Duck!" She and Gabe also occasionally will say "dog" when they see Paris or Bogart and "Da Da" for me. Gabe also says "Gi Gi" and something that sounds a little like "patty cake." Catching Gabriel talking on camera has ben a bit more elusive, but stay tuned...
We had our holiday shoot with an amazing photographer, Cathy Lachine, in Colonial Williamsburg. Gabriel was very serious that day and Viv, as always, was a firecracker!!
Dear Friends & Family, We created "Make Ours a Double" to keep in touch and to share our pictures, our thoughts, advice, etc. about our journey from pregnancy to parenting twins, and now a third on the way! Lots of love, R & J
