The Carousel

J: I have discovered a new favorite store in Williamsburg...the Carousel. After getting a few gifts from there, all of which I LOVED, I decided to pop in. I loved everything there and I was able to find a few must-haves for Miss Viv. Poor Gabriel did not fare as well but we will be back as soon as possible.

Showers..Part one
J: Last weekend our good friends hosted a baby shower for Miss Viv and Gabriel at Kelsey's house. I have the most amazing friends. Nicole, Katherine, Katrina, Kelsey, Jill, and Steph really hosted a perfect shower! These babies are already so loved and there are so many friends (either already here or on the way) that I cant wait for them to meet. We had a baby carriage cake, mimosas, fabulous gifts, and friends that came from as far away as North Carolina.
Enter the Snoogle

J: I have officially begun my last block of nights before the babies arrive. My goal is to make it through so that I can can have a block under my belt before the babies are here and also so I dont have to pull anyone. We are 1 day short of 33 weeks and while my big goal is 34 weeks, I am really hoping to make it to 36 weeks. ....Anyway, I am normally a very light sleeper and terrible at sleeping during the day, so nights are brutal for me. I know I need to get some sleep during the day so I can make it through this last big 2 week block. Well, I may have found something fabulous. Raj and I were shopping for some last minutes in Babies R Us this weekend and found a perfect bed companion...my snoogle. He generates no heat and is a perfect spooner!

The Orthopaedic & Spine Center
R: Well OSC sure knows how to make a new doc feel welcome! I went down there today to start my credentialing process and was greeted by a welcome message on their sign. In addition, I had an opportunity to visit the new construction site and see how things are progressing. Everything continues to be right on schedule and I am downright giddy about this opportunity. Here are some more pictures of how things are coming and also an architect's rendering of what the completed office will look like. Take care, and keep us in your prayers as the twins arrival date draws closer!

The Weeds

R: Janae said the kids are growing like weeds and here they are! They both are as cute as ever, and Ms. Viv is definitely as active as the G-man. It seems that she does not like to have her picture taken and did not want to give us a clear shot of her face. And Gabriel loves to keep his hand up against his face, since it appears in almost every picture we have of him. We are extremely excited and blessed that they continue to grow bigger, and are healthy & active. The day is quickly approaching...I don't know if the world is ready for these two wild things!
4 lbs each!!!

J: We had our 32 week appointment today and Gabriel is head down, weighing in at a heafty 4lb 2 oz and Miss Vivienne is head down too weighing in at 4lbs even! We are thrilled that they are both head down and that we may be able to have a vaginal delivery. We celebrated by going to Rattle and Roll where we picked out their coming home outfits (pictured above). We need to make it at least another 2 weeks but of course, would love to go another 4 weeks so we can let their lungs mature as much as possible. I am so excited that they are doing so well and are growing like weeds!
